What is column intelligence?
Column intelligence examines list or spreadsheet headers and sample values to identify likely roles, such as a company domain, email address, or LinkedIn profile URL. It helps an assistant suggest inputs for an operation, while the user can inspect the mapping and correct ambiguous or incomplete columns before a run.
Why does mapping need review?
A header such as URL could contain a company website, a personal profile, or another link. A suggested role is useful context, not a guarantee that every row has the right value. Review the sample and select the appropriate operation before paying to process the full list.
| Example header | Possible role | Check before running |
|---|---|---|
| Company domain | Website input | Values point to the intended companies |
| Profile URL | Personal LinkedIn input | URLs use the intended profile type |
| Work email | Email verification input | Addresses belong to the intended contacts |
Column intelligence supports mapping; it does not verify a claim or replace review of the source data. Learn how it fits into MCP lead enrichment.
